AVOID THE TYPICAL PITFALLS OF MARRIAGE

No couple embarks on married life expecting to end up in divorce court, but that’s what happens to many couples nowadays. After a lot of research I have found that When a postmortem is done, most marriages are found to be sabotaged by one of these 10 traps:

1. Taking your partner for granted...... That’s like having a garden that you’re not weeding or fertilizing, You can’t expect it to continue to thrive. Let your partner know you appreciate him or her.

2. Forgetting that a good marriage takes work...... People think that having a happy marriage is a magical, mystical occurrence. We’ve accepted the fact that parenting takes a lot of skill, but we don’t want to accept the idea that romantic love takes a great deal of work, too.

3. Not talking through conflict...... If you rely on heavy sighs, slammed doors and other non-verbal communication when something is bothering you, you could be playing with fire. As painful as it may be to get the conversation started, you must speak up. Otherwise, problems start festering and begin to take on a life of their own.

4. Failing to romance your partner...... We all want to be made to feel special, that’s why it’s so important to set aside at least one night per week for you and your spouse. Use this regular ‘date night’ to share your hopes and dreams.

5. Fighting dirty....... The better you know somebody, the easier it is to hurt that person. No matter how angry you may be about something, you need to resist the temptation to figure out the one thing that will hurt your partner the most and then use that against him.

6. Fighting over money....... A recent study by the Million Dollar Round Table, an international association of life insurance and financial services professionals, found that 43% of married couples argue about money. If money’s becoming a major source of conflict, you might consider sitting down with a financial planner or some other 3rd party that can help come up with a financial game plan you both can live with.

7. Letting the passion fizzle..... Have sex often — anytime either of you is in the mood. If you wait until both partners are in the mood, you won’t end up having much sex at all and, over time, you’ll end up drifting apart.”

8. Shutting down sexually when you’re angry rather than dealing with issues....... Although withholding affection may seem like the ideal way to punish your partner, you risk seriously damaging your relationship.

9. Failing to understand that marriages have ups and downs........ It’s OK to expect incredible moments in your marriage, just don’t expect them to happen every day.

10. Throwing in the towel too easily...... We’re so accustomed to the concept of obsolescence that we treat our partners as disposable. Vow to rekindle the flames rather than looking for the closest escape hatch.

Marriage in the U.S. is as common as anywhere else in the world, the problem we have is staying out of Divorce court. Some report that the Divorce rates in the U.S. is over 50%, that's mainly because so many get married for the wrong reason. I'm not one that can speak too heavily on this cause I'm not yet married and never been but just ask a friend or a neighbor and you can usually get a good idea of marriage in the U.S. I hope this do a good service to many like me that haven't took the chance yet, and ones who has but looking to try it again in the future. I live with a generation where finding a good girlfriends is like finding a needle in a haystack, so I would really love to drop this rate for the sake of the country, and call this just doing my part, and ultimately educating myself for when a make some lady the luckiest woman and wife alive! Good Luck Friends!

Is Your Girlfriend a Keeper?

*She's a Good Cook>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Show me a woman who can't cook, and you have found a woman that I will not marry Lol. Ladies consider this a warning, must of us man have no skills in the kitchen and all fast food gets old, so if you wondering why he won't commit or purpose, don't overlook your skills over the stove. *She Finds You Amusing>>>>>>>> If the girl you are dating does not find you amusing, you are in trouble, because she's only going to find you less amusing over time. If she thinks your jokes are racist, sexist or any other 'ist' for that matter, you should continue looking elsewhere for a mate. *Sexual Chemistry>>>>>>>>>>> This one sort of goes along with point #2, in that, just like she will only find you less amusing over time, she will be less inclined to put out over time. If you are constantly turned down, or on the other side, if you aren't as interested in sex as she is (I have heard of this happening, it may just be folklore though) then you probably aren't gonna work out............ *She Tolerates Your Farts>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Funny! but seriously, A woman to keep around is the one that you unleash your full fury upon, and she doesn't so much as flinch. She knows that the smells that emanate from your body cannot be held inside, and has learned to shut herself off from the pain of the stench............... *Intelligence>>>>>>> Not all women need to be smart, but there need to be equivalent levels of intelligence from each side. If you are a member of MENSA, and she has trouble following when you use complex sentences, then she isn't the one. If she makes you feel like an idiot with her smarts, then she isn't the one. You need someone who level of intelligence is equal to yours, that way you guys can relate and grow together, easier......................... *She Is Not Always Right>>>>>>> A woman who concedes that you might be right from time to time is one that you should keep around. She is a diamond in the rough, indeed! *She Is Fine With Giving You Space When you go out for beers with the guys, she doesn't send you the "I miss uUuUu. LoVe MuffIn. 2 Sad:(((((((((" text. She doesn't always need your attention, and is fine with letting you do what you like to do. That takes a lot of security from not just a woman but a mate, they must know they can let you be, and know that you love them too much to do anything your not suppose too........................... The next few points I want to make kind of all fall in the same Category: *Puts Up With Your Shit>>>>>> She recognizes that there are things about you that just AREN'T gonna change. She has decided that these things are not vital and just leaves them be. Whether it be the way you chew your food, your snoring or the fact that you always get unreasonably angry at other drivers, she has decided that these are not the battles to fight............................ *Takes No Shit>>>>>>>>>>>> This may seem to fly in the face of the last sign, but a woman to keep around is one that tells you when you are an asshole. I know personally, that I have a hard time gauging how big an asshole I'm being. It's not a bad thing for her to rein you in from time to time. Also, a little feistiness shows that she thinks for herself and has self-respect.............. *Silence>>>>>>>>>>>>> You can sit there and be quiet around her comfortably. The air doesn't have to be constantly filled with nonsense, Silence is sometimes good, just enjoy the comfort of your partners presences................................................................................................................. She Gets Along With Your Friends>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This one is pivotal. If your buddies think she is a bitch, she probably is. In this case, find a new broad. *Her Friends Don't Suck If you are constantly calling her friends "whores," "bitches," "wenches" or any other slanderous term, then she is probably one as well, and you just aren't seeing it. If you find that you can hang out with her friends and enjoy yourself, this is a good sign.

Bengals looking at RBs Beanie Wells, Mike Goodson

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis has said that the team’s cap surplus will be used on the current players. But that doesn’t mean newcomers won’t be welcome. According to Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports, former Cardinals running back Beanie Wells visited the Bengals on Tuesday. On Wednesday, free-agent Mike Goodson arrives. Goodson spent 2012 with the Raiders; per Silver, the Jets and Cowboys also are interested. The Bengals want a tailback who can share touches with BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who arrived as a free agent in 2012. From ProfootballTalk.com

A Father's Intuition

How you came about wasn't the best story in my life.
Now that you here, boy you better believe I love you with all my might.
Liam, I want you to know how bad my heart hurts for you kid.
I try to hear out people that know what I feel and how I feel, when they constantly tell your dad, it's going to be all right.
But throughout my entire life and all trials and tribulations this is by far been the hardest fight.

This fight that consist of me myself and I, against me myself and I.
A fight disadvantage when your mom decide to sneak her blows in like a sharp knife.
A fight that, more than ever before, make me bust out and cry.
Although there is a sense of fear, a sense of doubt, this towel, I'll never throw in.
A fight that brought about the biggest scare of my life, in saying goodbye.
Even bigger than being in a fire, or in that fire when my air tank ran out of PSI.

You literally possess the smile that can brighten up a strangers day
A gift from God, A blessing that was given to me.
How could I not thank God for you, Every time I pray.
At this rate, there no telling what the future hold, the visions I had are now hard to see.
Regardless what may happen, I pray God's love will never leave you ah stray.

Liam, the game of life can be so crazy.
I wish for you to grow up so fast, only so I can have the time to teach you.
Time, which is what I feel is limited for us, slipping through my palms, for multiple reason.
The situation with me and your mom, that hope you grow one day to see from your own point of view.
Regardless what she say, always know that my life, I'll lay it on the line for you.

Nobody could ever feel the love I feel for you
My love for you is as common as the sky is blue
The thought of not being there and holding you, What would I do?
Time has flown by and, I cherish every moment with you, can't help but wish I had 2.
I never want you to understand or experience the shit I go through.

I pray for the day you get older, and grow into your own person and see things for yourself.
I promise to teach you everything you want to learn, need to know.
I promise to continue to love you unconditional, more than life itself.
I promise to never use materials to define myself as a parent, and be someone to you can always go.

I feel so bad sometimes, I hurt so much
I'm so fed up with all the bullshit that at times I'm willing to give you up
You'll never understand how deep inside of me I have to dig and the pain that's in my gut
Your not even a year and half, and feel like I been to hell in back
But I'm here Liam, for the long run never ever giving up and that ah fact!

Dashon Goldson In Bengals Strips???

I'm sure everybody has heard the story of the Dashon Goldson on XM radio yesterday expressing his interest in coming to CincinnatI. If you have not heard Goldson Said “I like those guys down there. I went to school with Reggie Nelson, played with Nate Clements, I was here with Taylor Mays and Manny Lawson so I’m familiar with some of those guys and how they play. They’ve got a good football team down there. They’re on track and they’ve got a good quarterback and receivers. I will have to consider all my options and we’ll have to see whose interested in me.” I can find many fans whose against this, I think we all know that he'll be a great fit here, filling a spot that's not only a need but that we also have struggled to get consistency from. he's also Marvin Lewis type of Safety, you ever wonder why Taylor Mays is still here? It's because of his size and physical abilities, Goldson not only have the sizes and the same physical capabilities but also can cover, Something thing Taylor can't do. It's rumored that Goldson will expect at least 8,000,000 per year. What a lot of people missed, was he expressed a lot of interest in returning to San Francisco, Goldson called the place home and said he really hopes something works out. So how likely are we to land him? First things first we gotta figure out if he's going back, if that doesn't happen, I think it is almost a certainty that he will be here. He's worth that dollar amount, he's a huge upgrade, and fits in perfectly with are young defense. Ironically he shares agents with another guy we will be making a decision on, Andre Smith.

Andre Smith Wants $9M Per.

Cincinnati Bengals right tackle Andre Smith is looking for $9 million per year on the open market, ProFootballTalk reported. The Cincinnati Enquirer's Joe Reedy talked to agents and contract advisers at the NFL Scouting Combine and feels Smith will command a deal in the $8.5 to $9.5 million per year range. At just 26 years old, Smith will get it. The Bengals used the franchise tag on defensive end Michael Johnson and have the most cap room in the league ($55.5 million). The team has invested in the offensive line with Pro Bowl left tackle Andrew Whitworth and center Kyle Cook locked down. Smith would provide stability amongst the group for years to come. It'll cost the Bengals to keep Smith, but it's normally wise to invest in a young talented tackle. Especially with a young offensive corps led quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green. My personal opinion is it would be a waste of money for the Bengals to sign this guy long term, it will be a bigger mistake then the decision to take him 6th overall. Andre Smith is a guy who plays when he want to and that's a guy you don't want on your football team. He came into the league as damage goods, we were only able to get 5 games out of him in 2 years, then his club option was declined, he woke up and realize that he was in a contract year and decide to play quality football. I think the Bengals need to let this guy go, and sign a new Tackle or even draft one. You sign him long term and I'm willing to bet a year's salary, that the injuries will all of a sudden re-appear and you will see him more outside the lines then you will on the field. Without him where do we go??? The draft class at tackle is deep and a guy like D.J. Fluker or Lane Johnson should be available when the Bengals go on the clock at No. 21. Most people I talk to wants the Bengals to bring Smith back, and I think it based of the, "What have you done for me lately?" theory, but this is a case where I think it will bite us in the back side. I understand we have other needs and don't necessarily need to add another one, but with four picks in the first three rounds it wouldn't be the worst thing. This draft is not the deepest, as far as 1st round talent goes, in the positions we need (safety, linebacker, running back). I think at pick 21 trying to fill any of these needs will be stretching for a player, which is why my initial feeling was for them to trade back and add a rd 2 or 3 draft pick to the pot, but with the uncertainty on rather we will sign this dude back changes that a little bit. What I hope the Bengals can do is bring in one the big name free agents thats available, with all the cap space we have, I don't mind them spending money on a quality free agent that you know what your going to get every Sunday. Guys like a Jake Long, Branden Albert of the Kansas City Chiefs may also become a free agent if the two sides can't come to terms. Albert was a first round pick in 2008 and has played very well, certainly well enough to draw multiple suitors and ultimately a large contract. Long, who may earn somewhere in the $12 million per year range is The former No. 1 overall pick, he has been a stud his entire career, perhaps the best left tackle in football along with Rival Joe Thomas of the Cleveland Browns. Cincinnati we have a great opportunity to be really good for a long time, we have some pieces that need to be replace and with the most money to spend at 54mil, letting guys like this walk shouldn't be an issue, I believe Andre and his agent knows they won't be able to get this much money per yr from anyone, they set this high amount hoping to settle for 5 or 6mil per, and I personally feel that's too much as well. According to SI's Peter King, several NFL teams are afraid of paying Smith a big signing bonus: "I think Cincinnati tackle Andre Smith should come with a warning label. Something like, "Huge money is hazardous to this player's greatness." Talked to several teams scared of Smith. They remember his weight problems early in his Cincinnati tenure, and they fear what a big signing bonus would do to his desire."- Peter King The way I see this playing out is Smith having a rude financial awakening, the Bengals declined that options for good reasons, a guy who struggled staying on the field his first year, a guy who can't control his weight, which made the Bengals clause his rookie deal, and not to mention the arrest back in January for bring a gun to an airport. Andre Smith is probably the biggest gamble this off season and the Bengals know that and it's a gamble I don't see them taking even though they have the most money to spend.
