You Got Housewives of a City, Basketball wives, Football wives And Now Baseball???

I never watch these shows, but I guess they must be bringing in the rating, and making good money, because they doing it again only this time with baseball, yes you heard correct BASEBALL! The show has the working title of Cleat Chasers and casting is in full swing by Get Some Media. A source familiar with the production has said it will feature women who know every trick to score with the pros.“It’s a reality show about girls who stop at nothing to score with athletes while they are away from their wives and girlfriends during baseball spring training,” a source close to casting told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “It’s about girls that have gone pro in the sport of ‘cleat chasing.’” The show will likely be held in Scottsdale, Ariz., where the World Champion San Francisco Giants train, though there are a host of other teams nearby.I actually find the whole psychology of groupies and why they act the way they do as a potentially interesting story seeing it and living it with my celebraty friends. Something tells me, however, that this show won’t get too terribly deep, being a baseball player and knowing that they are a lot of differences then your other typical pro athlete when it comes to 'groupie love', and will aim more to attract viewers with the promise of naming famous players to get someone in trouble and sharing sordid tales of their exploits. Stay tuned … or don’t, I can tell you I won't.

Who Will Win Wild Card Week and Why.

Jets@Colts/ This game is a toss up. Giving the jets have a better record, people feel that they are the better team. Problem is the jets have 11 wins, only 3 of them wins came against teams that was .500 or better. The Colt on the other hand manage to get 10 wins this year wit a team that was hit really hard by injury. One man, Peyton Manning carried this time like he does every year, it may not had been pretty as some of the previous years but when you have to play with 2 recievers and a tight end that was never projected to be more than just practice players until this year, no run game, and a mediocre defense 10 win is a HUGE number. Because of the huge setback in a Jets run game, Jets run game will be the determining factor in this game. To win playoff games on the road, you have to be able to run the football, especially against the Colts, to keep "18" off the field. I have the Colts taking this game for the simple fact, I don't think the Jets will be able to run the football against the Colts D and that front line, Jets have a tough D but it's Peyton Manning, and they have not won against good times often enough.

Ravens@Chiefs/ The Ravens was a team that was 1 game away from a #2 seed, as bad as I don't like them, I believe they will go to KC and win this football game. Defense, defense, defense is the reason why, KC has the top rushing offense in the NFL, Ravens have the #5 Rush D in the league be that as it may I give the Ravens D the edge, The determine factor in this game will be the Ravens running game, once again to win on the road you have to be able to control the game by running the football, and keeping the opposing offense of the field.

Saints@Seahawks/ This is going to be, in my opinion the least competeive game this weekend, Grant it the Seahawks won their Division and deserve to be in the playoffs, they don't stand a chance against the saints and Drew Brees. Their out matched everywhere in this game, you can likely see a blow out.

Packers@Eagles/ This is probably going to be the best game this weekend. I know everybody is on the Vick wagon, and everybody think this is going to be a Eagles win, but I must tell you the Packers offense can be just explosive as the Eagles, and the fact that the packer has a better D than the Eagles is the reason i'm going to say the Packers win this game. Look Vick has had a MVP type of year, but the last week he played he was exposed, against the giants he was contained, so it obviously ways to contain Mike Vick. I think the Packers D will be able to contain Mike Vick, and thats why in this game they are the difference makers. You stop Mike Vick, you beat the Eagles.

Marvin Lewis Return Is A HUGE Step in a Very Important Off-Season For the Bengals.

So as the Bengals and Marvin Lewis came to agreement yesterday afternoon, I couldn't help but think of how important this was to be able to even have a mere of confidence going into this off season with 13 starters being free agents, and the 2011 football season. The press conference was short and to the point, Marvin and Mike Brown was like tag team champ fighting together and backing each other against every question that was raised to them, which is a good sign. Another good sign for Bengals fans, is that Mike Brown seems to be committed to winning, Brown expressed confidence the Bengals would play so well in 2011 that he’d extend Lewis for even more years. Nobody, not even me expected Marvin to return to Cincinnati after 2010, they wasn't even sure if you ask me, it took three meetings Tuesday to come to a decision. I think it safe to say this was a shocker to most, so why???? Mike brown said " I think it give us the best shot to be the team we want to be." Marvin Lewis seem to be happy with the agreements the two had made. "I'm excited to have the ability to take this team where I want it." he also said that he felt it was rather important for this not to drag out, "I didn't want this dark cloud hanging over our players, and that's what people was trying to do, saying I was coming to my last weeks of my career here." As for Marvin control over Player and coaching personnel, let him tell it he was fine with the amount of control he had in personnel and coaching decisions stating "I never said I wanted or needed more control, I don't know where that came from, I never once got up here and said those words are anything close to it. Mike has the last say, there is no middle man I go through, and most the time he agrees with me, when we disagree I tell him why I feel the way I do and we go from there." Mike Brown Supported Marvin following " Marvin has a stronger voice on personnel than any other coach in the NFL. People don't know because they don't see us interact." Mike Brown also made it clear that the perception we, the fan had on him as a controlling maniac was wrong, " I'm not running like a dictatorship here, there are very little differences between us, it's not like Marvin a puppet and I'm dictating everything, it's not like that." As for personnel and coaching changes that can possibly be made, Marvin and Mike Brown was real careful and against answering any question about changes being made, so much that they got frustrated at Dave Lapham who was determined to get something out of them. Every other question he ask was about personnel changes. "Dave, you really need to let that go, your not going to get anything here." said Marvin. Mike Brown followed up saying, " You keep asking, and you keep getting the same answer, we're not here for that. The first order of business was getting things settled with Marvin, we did that now we'll get to the rest of the Staff, and then go down the list." They did talk about other things in the press conference, like the team that they currently had, and the guys they knew was coming back. Also about scouting department, which Mike Brown said was fine, giving the statistic that the Bengals was in the top 10 of players playing with the team which they we're drafted by. When Mike Brown was asked about the spike in ticket sales, and all the season ticket holders and luxury box holder he would lose, and how would he handle that he stated "You go out on the field and win games, that's how you fill the seats. Win and the people will come." When asked about a practice facility, which everybody know Marvin has been asking about, Brown said " It's not that I don't have a desire for a practice facility, there just more important things on the agenda right now, but it's coming." They didn't give a lot to reporters, and writers about personnel, it seem that's what everybody wanted to know about, not the contract extension on Marvin Lewis. Lewis did say " We have a nucleus of the right guys, we need to build around it, and we will. We're going to go to work getting to know some the new prospect, since we're not coaching in the playoffs." I personally took a lot of good out of this Press conference, In my opinion this was a huge step in the right direction, I have only one wish from the Bengals, that is that they get rid of Bob Bratkowski, not sure how likely that is with him being a Mike Brown guy. With all the possible free agents the Bengals has, 13 being starter, if they support Marvin the way they said they did Sunday and Monday, then bringing him back, will make it a little easier to get some these guys back, which is a good thing, given the fact that it practically impossible to get free agents here. The next few months leading up to draft is going to be interesting, I agree with Marvin when he said " I can't wait to get through the playoff and Crown a Champion so we can all go back to 0-0, and get this off season underway." To all the fans I must end with this, we didn't get much information on Personnel but I did get that CARSON PALMER WILL BE THE QB OF THE CINCINNATI BENGALS IN 2011.

Marvin Calling Out Ocho.

Thursday brought an traditional day for the Cincinnati Bengals, everybody showing up to work, with a more upbeat spirit after snapping a 10 game losing streak, After it was brought to Chad Ochocinco attention Marvin spoke about him in a recent article, Chad was looking forward to reading some good. To his disappointment he found the exact opposite. Marvin was reported telling Chris Jenkins of the San Diego Union-Tribute some hurtful things about Chad this morning. When Marvin was asked how Chad was doing he replied by saying "Well, he's being his mopey self. Hopefully, he can pull himself out of it and move forward ... When things don't go Chad's way, that's kinda how it happens." When ask how do he deal with it, "I don't deal with it," he said. "We just move on. We'll put a new guy in there. If he's not ready to go Sunday, we'll have somebody in there ready to go and go from there." Chris Jenkins was surprise that the conversation even venture off into this. Chris said when he ask how Chad was doing he was referring to the foot injury Chad is battling with. Chad who has been very quiet this year as far as talking to the media, I was very interested to see how he felt about the comments made about him. Chad was very upset about what was said about him surprisingly. Most of the time he usually don't pay much attention to what said about him, but he was pissed about this stating "Since when the fuck am I mopey? I'm injured for the first time in 9 yrs and it's called being mopey,unless i'm dead then I get my respect." Coming from Marvin it hit home with Chad, because he felt him and Marvin was better than that, he feel that Marvin is throwing him under the bus for the rough year saying on twitter "Did anybody get the license plate to the bus I just been threw under?" Chad who been known as a show out and big mouth of the league, if you can recall a few years back when he wanted to be out of Cincinnati as some would believe. he always stated that the fans never understand what goes on outside the lines, could this be an example of what he means?? Chad thinks so, " This is how they treat you when your injured, Things the fan can't see." Chad said. I'm not sure if what Marvin said was serious,or an effort to motivate Chad knowing his best receiving target is out for the year, but with the the playoff contending chargers coming into town, if they were planning to go into Sunday match up with the big 'MO' on their side from the win this past Sunday, that's pretty much out the window. In my opinion this just verify what we as fans already had an idea of, one of these guy definitely not gone be here this year. As far as Sunday goes, Chad has been limited in practice, but expected to play. With T.O. been on the shelf for the rest of the year, the last thing you need is an upset Chad Johnson, though Caldwell, Simpson played well last against the Brown, they're not guys you can depend on to be your air attack, they just not good enough. It's going to be interesting to see how Chad react to this come Sunday the best thing he can do is come out and play well, or he can come out and be as Marvin said "mophy" and not be a factor. Which do you think is more likely to be on display????

*My heart that's been in the same battle with my mind since I was 18 years old.
*A battle that, no matter the outcome each round, or which side wins I end up angry, upset and heart broke.
*Why?
*I would like to hear your answer to that question.
*You know it been 5 years, 5 years you have played with my heart.
*Yes, my heart has been broken, on many occassion, by many girls, this being by far the worst because how you continue to drag this on.
*I blame myself impart no doubt, my inability to see, and neglect of a problem that's been clear as day.
*On a couple different occasions, I have been strong enough, believe it or not to move on, but for some reason we never leave it alone.
*How do you do it?
*How do you possess the ability to insult and compliment in the same sentence, very convincingly might I add.
*An insightful mind knows better.
*A heart in love don't know any better, it tends to take only the good out of most statements.
*Between the 2 love always win that fight.
*I'm a confused mass now.
*The mind want you to never comeback around.
*The heart just want things to be how we know they can be.

No Action In Free Agency, Means Maintaining The Core Of The Reds.

Well If you was expecting the reds to make a lot of noise, or rock the MLB world in the winter meetings, sorry. No reason to be disappointed. The reds are doing what I feel, in my opinion is most important thing, and that's keeping the core of this group they have together. Late yesterday evening Jay Bruce agreed to a 6 year extension worth 51 million dollars, with a club option that could make it a 7yr, 63 million dollar deal. That's the biggest splash the reds have made this off season. The reds didn't have big expectations going into winter meetings, but with the young talent they have, it's not like they need to sign any free agents. They came into winter meetings looking for only a lead off hitter, which is not a big need, they can go with Stubbs or Phillips and be just fine. They also came in looking for a left handed power hitter to come off the bench, which is also not a big need if they'll just sign Nix back, he can fill that void in my opinion. They found neither, instead they exercise the 11 million dollar option of Arroyo and also gave him an extensions, they also brought back utility man Miguel Cairo, picked up $1.75 million option for OF Gomes, and that was pretty much the reds winter meetings. The Reds are not done yet, don't expect anything big, but SS Cabrera, C Hernandez, RHP Harang, OF/IF Willie Bloomquist, IF Cairo, OF Jim Edmonds, LHP Rhodes, RHP Mike Lincoln, RHP Russ Springer are all free agents. Harang has signed with Padres, reds declined his option, I can see Cabrera coming back at a cheaper price, after his 4 million dollar option was declined, Janish will most likely come into 2011 as the starter with prospect Zack Cozart also waiting in the wings, he'll make it to the show sometime in 2011. They want to bring Hernandez back and pair him up with Hanigan again, a duo that led the NL in hitting, both these guys in my opinion bridging the gap until prospect Devin Mesoraco is ready. The Reds had a 2010 Opening Day payroll of around $76 million, without a doubt that will increase with all the big names facing arbitration for the first time like Cueto, Volquez, and Votto, all who are expected to get BIG raises for 2011. Some other key role players are also facing arbitration like, Nix, Burton, Bray, and Corky Miller, it'll be interesting to see what of these players, and remaining free agents come back. You can expect your key role players from the big year last year to be back like the Hernandez, Nix, Cueto, Volquez, Votto, as for the smaller names like Springer, Bloomquist, Bray, Burton, Lincoln all these guys can possible be brought back with small, minor league type deals, the guys who came along late last year like Bloomquist, Springer it wouldn't make much sense not to bring these guys back. Two guys i'm unsure about is Cabrera, and Edmonds. These are very polish vets that are very well respected around the league and can still play defensive with the best of them, the reds will be battling with the rest of the league for these guys, don't be surprise if these two guys find themselves in other uniforms come 2011, I know I won't be. Why Is Meyer Receiving Praise For His Decision? A Action That Came To Late In My Opinion.

So i'm listening to the radio about 8 hours after the announcement that Florida Gator football coach Urban Meyer said he was going to step down effective after the gators upcoming bowl game. The guy on the radio, I can't remember his name, but he was filling in for Jason Smith, on Jason Smith's all night radio show. This guy was basically praising Meyer for the decision saying this was a real men decision to step away from his prestigious job, and step away from millions to take care or spend more time with his family blah blah blah, and it seems everyone is. He also started to bash callers that was texting and emailing in, basically Gator fans that was upset of his decision, now i'm not against the guy for what he did, cause quite honestly I can careless, but for a reason I can't tell you to, here this guy basically praise Urban Meyer for this decision kind of got under my skin. If I heard correctly, Urban Meyer kids are adults and a 2nd year college student, high school senior on the way to college. He does have a young son, which is his youngest that about 12 if i'm not mistaking. Make no mistake I see you giving the man SOME respect, but your giving this guy respect as if your praising him. How could you? No it's never too late to be a father to your kids, or your fatherly duties don't stop after your kid turns 18, but to be the father that requires you to leave your job, it's too late for that! I'm not a bitter Gator fan, I'm actually a Vols fan, so i'm glad to see this happen for the september showdown. I'm also a College student with no kids, and after high school you start to find your own way in life and grow not apart from your parents, but into your own adult self, don't try to praise this guy as if he some kind of trendsetter or something to say he's a good remodel for this, I disagree tremendously. He continue to say he never made it to none of his girls sports games, or been able to celebrate some their accomplishment. Urban how about being at the dinner table every night, how about seeing your kids every night before they go to bed, or been able to ask them how they day went, and when it was a problem having a face to face sit down and not over the phone. Make no mistake I'm not involved in this man everyday life, but I have a good understand of how time consuming his job can be. Sorry Urban but you lost that time, you lost the most important times, the time you some reason think is still there, you will soon find out it's not. Urban Meyer going to find himself sitting at home board out of his mind, or getting on his son nerves trying to hard to make up for lost time, the girls are gone, they're off into college living that college student life, and as athletes they don't have much time for you for this reason I don't see him coaching this year but won't be surprise if he was back next year. In closing, I seriously believe this is the way of the american parent now days. Urban Meyer situation is much different because of who he is and the profession he's in, but its all similar in the same way. The American parent now days are confused, I know you got to make the money to pay the bills, but don't try to be a parent when it's too late, it more to being a parent then taking care of all your kids financial needs, and seem most parents learn that too late, at least the older parents, don't try to build a stronger bond with your kids, when they're adults and out in the world on their own. I know you wonder if they'll resent you for, and if there bitter about, all that floats around in your head. Well let me be the one to tell you that yes they will, you trying to make it all better would only make it worst. As for young parents, your mistake and inability to be a good parent started when you got pregnant for most of you, now you still trying to live the life of a young adult in your 20's and leave the child with someone else while you club, date, and do whatever else it is you do beside be a good parent, but we gone save that topic for a whole new day. As for Urban Meyer, I don't know the man,I can't call him a bad parent, I'm quite sure his kids never needed anything and even though it more to been a parents, most parents can provide that for their kids. All i'm saying is that, your reasoning for stepping away now, would've been much better had you did say about 10 years ago, now I can't see it benefiting anybody not even your self-concious.
